Dr. Yasir Lal – Kidney Specialist and Nephrology Expert
Dr. Yasir Lal is a board-trained nephrologist and kidney specialist with advanced training in the diagnosis and management of kidney disease, chronic kidney disease (CKD), and high blood pressure (hypertension). At the Texoma Nephrology and Hypertension Clinic, he provides patient-centered nephrology services, focusing on helping patients better understand and manage complex kidney conditions.
Dr. Lal completed his Fellowship in Nephrology and Hypertension at the University of Texas, where he was honored as the Most Distinguished Fellow for his dedication to patient care and clinical excellence. He also undertook a one-year research fellowship in Diabetes and Obesity at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, gaining valuable expertise in metabolic conditions that can impact kidney health and contribute to chronic kidney disease (CKD).
With many years of experience in kidney care, Dr. Lal has delivered exceptional treatment to patients facing complex kidney conditions, chronic kidney disease (CKD), and difficult-to-control hypertension. Throughout his career, he has served in leading medical institutions, including Baylor Medical Center and MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, where he treated patients with serious and complex medical needs.
